Cute!spotlight : Animal crossing new leaf

Animal crossing : New leaf (ACNL) is a game for Nintendo 3DS which, since it's release date in 2012, has grown in popularity and even sparked a craze of animal crossing town blogs on tumblr. In this post you will see some of my faveourite parts of the game!

A new game, a new story-line and in this new version of animal crossing you are the boss! After arriving in your town you are mistaken for the new mayor by the villagers and you soon recieve a letter from the actual new mayor telling you that you can have the job. Though your role as mayor you improve the town and build relationships with the villagers by building public works projects, enacting town ordinances and the usual villager interactions, plus much more.

 I've had my copy since Christmas and I really love this game! It's super cute and fun, and with endless amounts of possibilities you will never get tired of this game! So, without further adieu, here are my top five faveourite bits from ACNL!

1. Complete customization!
I love the new sense of control you have over the game! Everything in the town can be changed by the player and even the order in which you upgrade the rooms in your house can be commandeered now! It's great to see this amount of available customization which was severely lacking in previous versions of the game.

2. Cute clothing!
The clothing in ACNL, both from able sisters and through QR codes, is super cute and I think we can all agree on that without having anything more to say!

3. QR codes!
Linking back to the customization aspect, QR codes mean your creations, paths, clothing, or any other designs, can all be shared online with friends and the wider community! It's great for those who wish to share their designs and for those of us who don't necessarily have as much creative flair as others.

4. Gardening!
In ACNL you can care for and grow a multitude of cute flowers and when your really good, even create hybrid flowers of different colours and types! I love gardening on ACNL and its a really cute and easy way to decorate your town; even if your still early on in the game.

5. Social Butterfly!
Lastly, ACNL is a very social game! You can play in your friends towns, look at other peoples houses using streetpass, and dream of other peoples towns using a dream code! I love this new social aspect of animal crossing and playing with my friends is really fun, and looking at other peoples towns can be really inspiring!
